Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name, case number, or other text entered in a search tool is transmitted to the outside provider that powers that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results under its own terms. Poinsett County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends a message by an available contact method, the message may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It is not disclosed outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Ordinary server and analytics logs can receive technical facts when a page loads:
- Device IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and general device type
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- Referring website, when supplied
- Date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files that can help measure traffic, remember technical preferences, and show where site use begins or ends. Analytics providers may combine visit data into broad performance reports. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although disabling them may change how some functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
Collected technical information is used for limited operational purposes:
- Operating and loading the site
- Sending a requested query to the selected outside service
- Measuring which pages are useful
- Finding security, availability, and display problems
- Supporting advertising that may reflect general interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Poinsett County Court Docket does not host, build, sell, or maintain a database of Poinsett County case histories. Its content describes official routes such as Search ARCourts, the Poinsett County Circuit Clerk, and local District Court departments. Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19 governs access to Arkansas court records, while Arkansas Code sections 25-19-101 and following contain the state's Freedom of Information Act. Neither source turns this private site into a court-record custodian. Visitor data is not assembled into reports about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies provide the search boxes that appear on content pages. Information entered there is handled under the provider's privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing rules, not solely under this policy. Poinsett County Court Docket does not control those systems. Review the provider's terms before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Arkansas Judiciary portals, clerk directories, court pages, government resources, or outside services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy applies. Advertising providers may also use their own systems to measure activity across sites. Those practices are controlled by the respective provider.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold by this site. Limited information may be available to:
- Search providers processing a query the visitor submits
- Analytics vendors measuring traffic and performance
- Advertising networks placing or measuring ads
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for information within the site's control. No internet transmission, storage system, or connected service can be guaranteed completely secure. The site therefore cannot promise that an unauthorized event will never occur.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under eighteen. If information from a minor is identified, a verified request can be used to seek its removal.
Your Data Rights
Rights can vary with the visitor's location and applicable privacy or consumer-protection law. Arkansas's Freedom of Information Act and Administrative Order 19 address public and court records; they do not make private-site visitor logs into court files. Subject to applicable law and verification, a visitor may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal information held about that visitor
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion where retention is not legally required
- Object to or opt out of processing when the law provides that choice
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised when site practices, providers, or legal duties change. A revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. The posted policy governs use after that update.
Effective date: August 14, 2026
